Up Design Mallorca is an architecture, urban planning and interior design studio, based in Palma de Mallorca. We carry out residential, cultural and corporate projects at local and international level.
Our team of professionals develops the architectural design, adapting to the needs of each client in the most economically viable way. We seek inspiration in Mediterranean culture and tradition, combining it with technology and innovation.

Mallorca-born architect, he graduated at Alfonso X El Sabio University in Madrid.
Since 2011 he has collaborated with architects in various competitions in Madrid and with BJ - architecture and urban planning studio in Palma.
In 2020 he finished the Master BIM Management with the Editeca school and approved by the Isabel I University.

Architect, she graduated at La Sapienza Univeristy of Rome. She studied also in Paris, and Moscow, thanks to a scholarship for her thesis research.
After an internship in 2016 at the Miquel Lacomba office in Palma, she worked there until 2019.
She is passionate about hand-drawing and is founder of Sketching Palma.

What every architecture lover must see in Mallorca? The first not-to-be-missed gem is Can Lis House, built by Jorn Utzon for his wife Lis and himself. Located in Portopetro on the top of a cliff, the house is built with the marés stone, making it blend into the landscape. Can Lis is organized in four separate blocks, linked together with walls and courtyards. (pic 2-3) All face the sea with slightly different orientations following the line of the cliffs. The result is a house that makes optimum use of materials, light and views. Most of the furniture is also made of stone, sculpted into shelving, tables, chairs and benches. (pic 4) The window frames, mounted on the exterior surface of the walls allow a clear view of exterior suggesting a continuum between interior and exterior. (pic 5-6) Numerous loggias and projecting roofs provide the necessary shade.
